Gibson recently released a limited edition of their famous Flying V guitar, with the V in reverse! According to the manufacturer, it completely sold out and demand for addition production was made by the loyal Gibson guitarist base.
As an owner of a Gibson Les Paul, I can testify that the guitar is certainly worth a considerable amount more than when I bought it some 20 years ago. The collectability factor is something that Gibson is not shy to remind us about. They are a manufacturer who still has an active factory based in the US, a trend which is fading as manufacturers save dollars moving production to Asia.
