Ideas from the 2008 Kick off Meeting

To those of you who were there, thanks for an amazing and very special evening. We certainly covered a bit of ground with some excellent ideas that are starting to bubble to the surface. As mentioned tonight, please register your thoughts from the night on this post.

Kristina’s TV Show

Kristina, please outline the concept of your idea to have the Music Producers Forum participate in one of the episodes of your Sunday morning program.

Weekend Workshop

Utilising Kristina’s offer for weekend residency. Weekend Music Production workshop.

Dogma version of music production

Filip, let’s discuss the finer details… I had some basic concepts for what I was calling “GrooveDog” style of production, where its a live recording, restrictions on effects, standardised mic setup, must be video recorded.

Neil Lemon to review some short film scripts

Possiblity to collaborate with Ian Nicholson (Organiser of the Sydney Film Industry Meetup), to write songs for short films in development.

Joint meetup with the Sydney Film Industry Group

Review format of combined meetup, Music Video night. (Ian and Jomar to discuss. Feedback welcomed)

Acoustic Sound and Film Festival

My dream project… Twilight outdoor acoustic performances, followed by short film screenings with live music providing the score. Please let me know if you are interested in producing and organising this with me.
