As music listeners we all invest in the music we love. The internet and services like iTunes has revolutionized the way we not only hear our music, but also buy it. There’s an amazing catalog of music we all now have access to as well as the onslaught of new music in our faces. But many of us still want that physical product, the booklet, photos and the CD that stands proudly in our music library.
If this is you, then take note of Musicworthbuying.com. It is a great little labor of love, a project produced by One of the Music Producers Forum’s members on our Linkedin Group, TJ Ramirez.
The genius in “Music Worth Buying” is simple. It’s about “value ” as well as just “recommendations” and on his website TJ says, “Often times I am mystified by music reviews that never tell me if the music being reviewed is worth buying. So the whole point of our reviews is to recommend music that is worth buying (thus the title).”
I’ll be interviewing TJ in the next week to get some further insights about this great resource for music lovers. In the meantime, here’s latest installment (Episode 23!) of Music Worth Buying.
