Music is now very much all digital; from production, distribution and now ever more so in the digital and social marketing. For musicians, artists and producers, their digital footprint is becoming more and more of a powerful way of getting heard. Nobody knows this better than one of the leading digital marketing pioneers, Mitch Joel.
Mitch is recognised as an industry authority in digital marketing and social media, and is president of his hugely successful agency, Twist Image. He also is the author of book, 6 Pixels of Separation. Prior to his work in digital marketing, he started up and owned a music label and has worked as a music journalist.
It was a privilege to talk to Mitch, sadly though, it was on the historic day of the passing of Apple founder Steve Jobs.
